Baby Budgies

She is out learning to be a big girl, becoming a good flier and eating on her own. She disappeared on me. I am searching everywhere, finally I find her in the kitchen on the top of my cupboard sleeping. The camera flash woke her up.

Budgies love dandelion
A plate of kale, dandelion and baby spinach.
This is most of my flock, 3 females are in their nestbox. Max & Ruby are not good at sharing so they are having their feast of veggies and pulp from a juicer. Birds love the leftover pulp from a juicer.
Kai, Snowy, Eggie & Persia
The budgies love dandelion especially Snowy. Snowy didn’t want to share so he picked up a piece and flew to the other side of the cage with it. If Eggie gets too close he will he will defend his piece. I put more out so they all had a feast.

Austin is the first born. Austin was born June 21, 1998
Father Beau, all light blue/white head, English
Mother Indy, blue ( hint of purple ) white head like her son Austin
Cassidy’s mother was a yellow lutino named Tekeya
Great Uncle Beauty born late June 1999. His brother Austin is the great grandfather to these girls. His son Cassidy’s boy Kaia is the father and Daisy ( Nico’s daughter ) is the mother of both lutinos. The darker yellow is Jasmine born Mar 5-11 and up front is Eggie born Dec 10-10

Newborn Baby Budgie
One and two days old
This is Chyna and Snowy’s first baby. It is only a few hours old and Mom already has milk in its crop. This is Chyna’s first baby so she is doing a great job. You can still see the egg tooth on its beak. Sydney and Chase had one fertile egg and it has been fostered out to Chyna.
